TribesMeet Child Safety Standards
Effective date: 12 September 2026
TribesMeet (listed as Tribes Meet on Google Play) prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to all users, profiles, photos, messages, attachments and other content on our service, and to conduct that uses TribesMeet to facilitate abuse elsewhere.
Adults only
TribesMeet is for people aged 18 and over. Anyone under 18 must not create or use an account. Misrepresenting age to gain access is prohibited. Report an account if you believe its user is under 18.
Prohibited content and conduct
We do not permit:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, videos, illustrations or computer-generated material depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of a person under 18.
- Uploading, requesting, offering, distributing, selling or linking to CSAM, or directing users to places where it can be obtained.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation or attempts to arrange sexual contact with a child.
- Sexual extortion, coercion, threats or blackmail involving a child or a child's intimate content.
- Child sex trafficking or any attempt to recruit, advertise, arrange or facilitate the sexual exploitation of children.
- Sexualizing children, promoting or encouraging their sexual abuse, or using profiles or conversations to facilitate that abuse.
These prohibitions apply regardless of claimed consent, and whether the conduct involves payment or takes place on another service.
Report a concern
Use the Report option on the relevant profile or Report message in a conversation. Describe the concern and identify the relevant account or message. You can also block the user to stop further contact.
You can contact TribesMeet at [email protected] with the subject TribesMeet child safety report. Include a profile identifier, message reference or link, and a brief explanation where available.
Do not download, copy, forward or attach suspected CSAM to an email or report. Provide references to where it appears instead. Do not investigate or engage with a suspected offender yourself.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement immediately. TribesMeet is not an emergency service.
How we address violations
Our policy is to review child-safety reports and take appropriate action when we become aware of prohibited content or conduct. This includes removing or disabling access to CSAM, restricting or suspending accounts during review, and terminating accounts responsible for child sexual abuse or exploitation. Underage accounts are not permitted and are subject to removal.
Users must not evade restrictions or create replacement accounts to continue prohibited conduct. We may retain relevant records where necessary and lawful to investigate abuse, meet legal obligations or respond to lawful requests. Such records must be handled with restricted access.
Cooperation with child-protection authorities
TribesMeet's standards require compliance with applicable child-safety laws. When we become aware of apparent CSAM or child sexual exploitation, our policy is to make reports to the appropriate regional authority or designated reporting organization where required by law, and to cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities. Reporting obligations may include referral to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
